I really enjoyed writing this book and hope that it may help those that read it to understand a little about the hidden memories and constant torements that so many veterans live with and deal with throughout their lives...Thank You,,,,Phil Mason/Vietnam-(1965-1968)

Such an honest look at a young man's struggle with the realities of war, and how this followed him throughout his adult life. I am glad the story is written down and won't be forgotten, and that the author is finding peace and the strength to forgive himself for something that couldn't be helped. It's my prayer that honoring the memory of his friend by telling the story of their brotherhood will bring him healing. I am also impressed with the Veteran's Book Project as a whole.
