Riding the White Horse A True Story of Lonleliness, Devastation and Addiction
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Riding the White Horse is a true account of a young girl that stepped out of her fairytale world onto a path of destruction. Each chapter chronicles her life as she is transformed from innocence to monstrous and directly into the outstretched arms of heroin addiction. The story is written from memory of a painful experience as a junkie and her affection for the needle.
Hop on and join her in an adventure as she rides the white horse (heroin) and experience first hand the effects and destruction of addiction. As each occurrence toward devastation is overturned the reader will experience feelings of true compassion then deep disappointment as Nancy consistently returns to the drug filled crime ridden streets.
While her dependence on horse worsens and days become darker she ends up a repulsive thief and junkie; wondering how it got this far. But after all is said and done, Nancy hopes to be remembered as the person she is today and the years after she rode the horse back home.
