For thousands of hours of hiking enjoyment this is a must buy.
This is a great book for local trails from Mt. Diablo all the way to Sunol Regional Park. It is easy to find trails of different lengths and difficulty, as well as special items of interest such as waterfalls, shade or views. Be aware that the maps are not to scale, so it may be helpful to have a park trail map. A wonderful way to explore more area trails!
