The Book of Imaginary Animals

The content of this book was created by the second grade at the Bilingual School of Monza in art class. We focused on invented, imagined and mythological creatures. As we are in a bilingual school, everyone is at varying levels of language proficiency. Spelling is at times phonetic, interpreted from an Italian ear, and often quite imaginative. I kept the text as it was written by the kids, without correction. When discussing the book in class, it was decided that we should sell it and donate the proceeds to a charity caring for endangered animals. All profits from this book will be donated to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in its Species Adoption program.
