The River City Connection

The River City Connection is an architecture thesis project about the relationship of the city of New Orleans, the Mississippi River, and the people that occupy the city. There is currently a disconnect between the Mississippi River, the city of New Orleans, and the people that occupy the city. Architecture could reconnect the city by creating public access to the river, overlapping public and private place, and educating people about the relationship between the city and the natural ecology.
