To sum up and thus avoid people wasting time, this ana is dull and lifeless. It seems to be written by an unemotional being whose only will is to indulge himself. There is no rhyme scheme, no musicality, no emotion what make the reader uncomfortable. He plunges into a pessimistic and arrogant realm with no openings, he buries himself into the author’s own Reality. Poetry has to touch for it is the salve of one’s soul. I was unfortunately disappointed by this "poetry", "unpoetry" may I say. The outstanding cover picture invites us, it unluckily misleads upon the content. To conclude with, Time is precious, do not waste it.

Poems of Reality is an icon that one reads and re-reads and wonders why it wasn't published before. That it was published only now be seen as a fault, but in this age of overabundance in verse, good poets sometimes must take their time. That's what Nicholas James Martin has done. He has taken his poetry into his own hands and produced a book of poems that is worth devouring over and over again. Younger readers may not always relate to his images and metaphors, but older readers will love him. This collection of 63 poems makes us nostalgic for a time when faith was admired completely, but allows us to bask in the reality of today's postmodern realities with the knowledge that not all is black and white. Poems of Reality is modest, imaginative, and moral. Simply, buy it !!!!!

I must be honest, that when I managed to find a copy of this book which is just out, I was very happy. The poems within are motivating, uplifting and very thoughtful. The subjects covered are diverse and interesting, and as the book says, it covers many subjects which are not normally covered. A must read for any poetry fan.
