The Perils and Prayers of Pearlie Mae

Pearlie Mae Parker was a woman after God's own heart. Throughout her lifetime she endured many perilous times, but no matter what came against her she kept her mind stayed on God and His Word. Pearlie Mae held onto God. He was her Strong-Tower; her Deliverer; her Strength and her Shield. The Lord was her Hiding Place Whom she could take refuge in, in her times of distress. Pearlie Mae loved the Lord with all her heart, all her soul, and all her mind. She rejoiced in the Lord, praying without ceasing, giving thanks in all circumstances; for it is the will of God in Christ Jesus. Pearlie Mae fought the good fight of faith. She abided in God; depending on Him for strength and direction; and He led her in the paths of righteousness for His Name's sake. Pearlie Mae was victorious through Christ and prayer unto Him was a mighty weapon in her life.
