"A Brilliant Crash Course in Hinduism!" Have you always wished to learn the basics of the great timeless religion - Hinduism, but never did so because the thought of burying your nose in dry formal tomes made you flinch from it, then this beautiful little booklet is awaiting the flattering touch of your attention. I loved the simple illustrations and the equally simple language. In fact, just by looking at the simple pictures, you will grasp the essential message of this book. You don’t even need to read the text. The editing is perfect. I have always said that as an editor, I have been blessed (or cursed?!) with an overly meticulous eye, which makes me a shallow judge of books at times. But in this book, even my meticulous eye spotted only two minor errors: The capitalization of the initial ‘i’ and ‘a’ in the title on the title page and the absence of ‘o’ in ‘world’, Pg 23; line 2. There is also a personal reason that makes me love this book. I am a strong believer in Carl... More > Jung’s ‘synchronicity’; I have first-hand experience of it. I had been reading Sylvia Browne’s Phenomenon when my friend Nilesh kindly sent me a copy of this wonderful book. Sylvia’s notion of the Heaven (or rather ‘Home’) taking after the earth and having all the good things of earth was kind of challenging my faith. I was eager to believe, but was also skeptical. Then Nilesh came along to my aid reminding me that this conflict is there in Hinduism also and has been there for centuries as a bone of contention among the religious scholars of my beautiful homeland, India. I refer to the Dvaita and Advaita philosophies. (Please consult the book under consideration for more details). Thank you Nilesh! You were on time! You will not take more than twenty minutes to read this book. What’s more, this book is incapable of boring you too! So pick up your copy now and enjoy!< Less

"Re: A Brilliant Crash Course in Hinduism!" Thank you for the review Pramod. It is doubly rewarding coming from a friend and a professional critic. I have corrected the two editing errors you have mentioned, and uploaded a revision of the book.
