The Last Munro

Mirrie is ten. Mum left home when Mirrie was very small so Mirrie lives with her dad, Joe. He blames his obsession with climbing all the Scottish mountains, or Munros, for the separation but Mirrie suspects there's more to it... Joe cuts a striking figure with his long hair and biker gear. Every spare weekend, he and Mirrie bomb up to Scotland by motorbike. Joe is laid low by a debilitating illness and has to rely on Mirrie's courage and resourcefulness when a sudden loss of energy places them both in danger.
