Cynical Jake Rippy is fresh out of college and sour already. After finding out he has only years to live, he travels around the globe searching for a “cure for the common.” As is often the case, the cure is worse than the condition.
Mixing it up with sages and psychopaths he ultimately stumbles upon a cult of ecologists bent on destroying civilization. And it is there that Jake finds his true calling: to employ his monstrous cynicism in saving the world from those with good intentions.
