Osita Iroku and The Enlil Institute present a book on cuneiform tablets of ancient Shumer and Babylon that tell fantastic stories in both poetry and prose form. Their subject matters range from shopping lists, to engineering specifications, to heroic deeds by God and his angels. After even a cursory glance at them, it is clear that these records served as the primary sources for all major religions and mythologies.

"Iroku and the Life of God" I started reading this morning "a day in the life of god". This is the history of the Shumerian tablets but written by a poet. I can't put the book aside, exploring the various connections to mankind history and religion. I really believe this book should be used for teaching religion in schools. It would widen kids and teachers horizon in an easily accessible way to all religions still active till today.
