The book of Genesis explains how man lost his soul, his body and his inheritance which is the earth. The book of Revelation, on the other hand, explains the concept of redemption, that is, how what was lost is returned to its original owner. Spacetime is eternal and we will inherit it from God.
Jesus Christ will return, but now he will do so not as that little child who could have been born in any palace of the First World and be the son of powerful kings. He chose to be born in a stable in a shepherding village of the Third World when he could have been born chubby cheeked and blue eyed, but rather, he chose an appearance which did not draw attention for his ethnicity. A man, full of pain and accostumed to suffering, who has always been there, knocking at our door.
Now he is coming as the King of kings and the Lord of lords, victorious, upon a white horse. But, we follow close behind, the church of Philadelphia, also riding upon white horses.
