An eye-opening and frank insight into the multifaceted experiences of miscarriage. With honest accounts from women from a variety of backgrounds. I found the women's faith particularly inspiring. A good read for anyone who has experienced a miscarriage and/or those who wish to have a better understanding on how to empathise with friends. An essential read for all.

*I received a copy from the author for review. This does not affect my review.* This book is so powerful! Beauty from pain, this story tells the story of women who've been touched by miscarriage. The inspiring and much needed thing that this book provides is a look at the different fazed of grief and life after the dreaded 'M'. Telling the stories of fifteen real Christian women who have dealt with the loss of one or more children during pregnancy. While this book was written about women of faith, this book shares a very human experience of how we as humans, mothers, and women deal with such a traumatic loss.

The “M” Word was such a powerful book for me. Even though I have not had to walk the heart-wrenching journey of miscarriage yet in my life, the themes of hope and faith in the midst of suffering are ones with which I wrestle. This book offers truth that is hard-won by the ladies who preach it. That God is good no matter our circumstances. That He sits with us in our moments of deepest pain. That our suffering is not His judgement and that He too is a Man of Sorrows, knowing grief and the sting of death well. This is a powerful book for anyone, but especially women. I’ll be recommending it with gusto to everyone I know.

The "M" Word is an inspiring book of hope for anyone who has experienced loss. The book tackles the taboo subject of miscarriage with, moving, honest, raw testimonies. The underlying theme of hope and prayer truly resonated with me - the stories in this book are a source of encouragement and inspiration for us all.

This book is truly a book of hope. Being a single Christian woman, I thought this book would be too far removed for me. But I was deeply moved and encouraged by the courage all of these women display. Their tales of how pain and heartbreak led them deeper to the unfailing love of Jesus Christ, simply causes the reader to question their own relationship with God. Not question it from the perspective whether we have a relationship but simply, is my love for The father as pure as this? Although these women will forever be unknown to me physically, their tales have found a place in my heart. It has opened my eyes to the miracle that pregnancy and child birth is. It has sparked a new found respect for mothers. And it has triggered a compassion for those who are earnestly waiting to be mothers. This book will cause you to analyse your faith, praise God for your portion and propel you to intercede for women and families you’ll never meet. It is truly a blessing. Thank you for obeying the...
