I just finished reading both volumes by Pat Herman and have picked out several patterns to work up. After experimenting with a couple of them, I can honestly say that the directions are clear, simple to understand even for a beginner and inspiring enough for a more experienced weaver. My hats off to great additions to my library. What will volumne 3 bring???
I was surprised when I ran across this book at a local wool festival. I have the first book by this same author and I love it so I naturally picked up the second book - Twills N' More. Just paging through, I found 3 projects that I plan to make - one, I have already purchased the wool for! Also, this same author has a single pattern for a mobius scarf/shawl, I have already finished it and I LOVE IT!! Watching for more patterns/ideas from this author!
I have this book and I was very happy with the artist accomplished patterns that both young and old would love to wear. The patterns are very skillfully written. It is great to have a book to help us keep this art alive. Kudo's to this fiber artist P. Herman to helping us do that.
