"Re: Guilt Trip review" Thanks Jo! Great review, very encouraging. I have always had some doubts about the subject matter of this book as I would not want to discourage anyone from giving generously to charities, but just feel that here in the U.K at least it's getting to be a problem when you can't even go shopping without someone stopping you and asking you for money for one good cause after another. You're left to feel so guilty if you refuse or just walk past. I feel it's just too big for most of us to deal with, and needs world governments to sort it out. It's like sticking a plaster on someone who's bleeding to death. Give my regards to Italy, a lovely warm, hospitable country with great food, lovely people, ancient monuments, and ignore my anti-hero who eats egg and chips in Sorrento and drinks Becks and P.G. tips tea. All the best, and thanks a lot from Patricia Harper

"My Thoughts" I thought this was really good. It was like a real life busy office with all the chit chat that goes on behind peoples backs, reminded me of a sitcom with Judie Dench. Great stuff and well written.Charity is a bit much in your face these days and this work brings it home to you.Well done

"Patricia Harper's Guilt Trip" My wife is currently reading this and says while it sounds controversial it does raise some interesting issues. What would happen if someone decided to give away their life's possesions for a charity? Can such a person go too far? This is just the first published novel from this promising new author. We have read and heard her shorter works as published and broadcast. This new step into self publishing is a large one and we wish her every success. Keep looking on this store front for details of several more novels, currently in the pipe line.
