Her close friend, Floyd, has been killed whilst investigating suspicious activities at the marina where Daisy berths her yacht, Lady Louella. Searching for clues to Floyd's murder, Daisy stumbles on the human face of a trafficking racket and learns what life is like for an illegal immigrant without papers or money. At the same time, Daisy must meet her own challenges. Besides coping with Floyd's death, she is confronted with a chain of shocking revelations which links her family's prosperity with past iniquities and present crimes.
