"Re: False review" No kidding, I will be praying for you. This is sad. It was suprising to me that this person would hate the first one so much then read the next 2. You almost didn't need comment due to the confusion I had.

"'Fraid not" I picked this up at a garage sale and I guess at 25¢ I didn't have a big financial loss. This book was sentimental and lacked any real imagination. I think people who are into romances will find this lacking any real passion and people who aren't into romances will find it lacking in any meaningful plot or character development. I'm not sure who the audience for this book is. But, hey, the gay guy who read it seems to like it. (shrug)

"A Very Good Read" Patricia Snyder's Mountain Storm was a very enjoyable read. Unlike some Christian romance novels, her book actually had an interesting plot. It wasn't smut like so many so-called romance novels. I usually read sci-fi/fantasy. This book held my interest. The characters became real. It was an enjoyable story.

"Re: Mountain Storm-Well Done!" Wow! I can't believe there are THAT MANY books out there already that one would even end up at a garage sale already! All right, Patricia!! ;) As long as it's being passed on for others to enjoy all the new demeloments, than your job has been done. I am finding the second book even more intriguing than the first and am excited to find out what will happen as I continue to read. So much heartache has occurred that I would like to see a little more joy for these folks, but, unfortunately, I understand from a personal point of view that it's real life. One can't "get over" great loss in just a few pages, so to speak; it takes time to heal and I believe Patricia has delivered that point very well. The faith they are learning to have in God is the main point and it's clearly portrayed. It makes me extremely happy that, although the brothers have wealth, that is not the answer to their problems as they live through them. Each time, they... More > have learned to turn to God, whose riches are greater than anything this world has to offer! Again, well done; I look forward to my reading time every day.< Less

"Re: 'Fraid not" Wow, I knew I had a few books out there that hadn't been bought by friends...but to have enough for one to end up in a yard sale this quickly is awesome! Sorry you didn't like it (not everyone likes the same kinds of stories), but thank you SO much for taking time to post a review. God Bless you, and happy reading in whatever you may choose. :)
