This Piano Trio was written between April and November 2006, and revised in May 2012.
The first performance took place April 1rst, 2007, at Paris, Espace Leopold Bellan
with Fanny Kassel (violon), Benoît Stroh (cello) and the composer playing the piano part.
It is now part of my "Pedagogical" catalogue which comprises not-too-difficult pieces
aimed at music students and amateurs.
It follows a classical four-parts structure:
I. Moderato - Allegro
II. Adagio
III. Interlude
IV. Finale - Presto
There is no principal tonality, however, most of the harmonies are based either on tonal chords
or on octatonic mode (aka Messian's mode II). Therefore, the harmonies will sound familiar
to most people, including those who are not very keen on avant-garde or experimental music.
This score comprises the full score, the violin part and the cello part in a single booklet.
