Having worked in the airline industry for 22 years , I have met a variety of people, from CEO,s to the custodian. Everyone has a story to tell and every story is different. Ms. Sablacan captures the high,s and low,s in this amusing book based around the life of a flight attendant. There is much more to this career than, "Would you like chicken or beef?"

“ … Glamorous,” is a fun book to read. I kept trying to find time to read it quickly. I tried anticipating what would happen next. I usually can guess correctly, w/many books, what was to happen. However, “…Glamorous” featured a few surprises -- not reflecting stereotypical romance novels. I was a little disappointed there wasn’t any heaving bosom or throbbing desire mentioned. I did appreciate that the content was appropriate for viewing by the general reader. The story was a bit slow for me in the beginning. Character build-up can be a bit tedious in stories. I did have a problem with some editorial and page layout mistakes. It was a distraction to see paragraphs not aligned properly or punctuation, such as quote marks, out of sync. That is a personal pet peeve. I suggest copies be made available to customers on long flights, such as international flights; advertisement could be used to direct readers, as they fly, to to download a copy. The references to different... More > airports and places made me reflect on personal trips. Also, flight attendant wannabes may benefit from this as a how-to when starting this career.< Less

Thank you for inviting me to read your book. What a gift. I loved it!! You have an easy upbeat style that kept me up half the night enjoying learning more about the job of a flight attendant. The details about bidding for trips inspired me to try to make some choices and structure my calendar in a good way. I loved Tammy’s strong sense of self, integrity, knowledge in many areas, and skill in deflecting inappropriate questions and topics. The inclusion of a couple of prayers was a sweet surprise. So many books ignore God altogether or try to give a complete theology lesson. Congrats on a writing a delightful/thought provoking/informative book!!!

Hi Family & Friends, We ordered Patti’s book from on Sunday 12/20/09 and it arrived on Monday 12/28/09, not bad for during the holidays. I started reading it that afternoon and finished it the next day. The story is very entertaining and enjoyable and for those of you not related to someone in the industry, it’s informative too. I believe that you will enjoy the story as I did and be left with wanting to know what is next for Tammy and Digger? I know that I will be encouraging Patti for the next book in the series and hope that all of you will also. Gary A. Cockfield
