May 2, 2010This is what I believe this book has said to me in many words of a clear mind and conations to be able to sleep with out worry or letting the sun go down on my anger. We tend to step back away from our lives and think to our selves “How did we get here?” We don’t think of the individual moments of happiness we have on the way through our personal hell. We are to busy trying to avoid all that comes in contact with us never lifting our heads to see the smiles of others or the small jesters that could bring a small beam of light to our day. In our now society people are becoming less considerate of others around them from the store, mall, schools, sporting events and my favorite the freeway. In my own opinion I believe the stores and marts have forgotten what courtesy means, my point is this we know already that there are all sorts of people in this world and we are not all going to get along it’s just in our nature its human to always want to be in the right. So, now that we have that... More > understood we can relies people around us are not going to change until we decide to change our selves and the best way to do so is lift your head and remember even the smallest blessings you have to be proud of are worth smiling about. Thinking of your first kiss, first child, first love, first day of school and all the friends you had. Your mind is more than capable of holding good thoughts as well as bad. And that’s what Patti,JoAnn and Charlotte is trying to teach in this book, that we are capable of changing our happiness with the pure power of thought. I remember as a child been told when I have bad nightmares to think about good things before I go to sleep that way I would have sweet dreams and you know what it might sound cliché but it worked that’s why I believe what is been said here in this book. You can change your life and turn it all around by doing such a wonderful simple thing as remembering something that has touched our lives. The quotes are fun to read and make you think about what the person is saying some almost feel like they are directed at you personally. The poems will touch the heart of even those who seem lost in there own sad sonnet of life.< Less
Apr 30, 2010This book is a jewel. From the time I achieved my psychology degrees and jotted down sessions for a later date of stories, I have dreamed of this book. Now that I'm semi-retired, I finally did it. As the book states your thoughts do become your realities. "Insightful; on the mark writing, Pattimari has a vast grasp of the human pysche, its fraities and strength. I recommend it to all who want to understand the human condition better." Graham Diamond, author of Forest Wars, The Thief of Kallmar, and numerous other novels. "A book well-written; filled with marvelous power." Charles Hass, MD, Internal Medicine "Powerful book; Pattimari has always impressed me with her insight into the psychological world. A must to read!" Jeanne Trachman, One to One Magazine "This is such an fascinating book on how we can change our life with positive thinking and with mind power. I have read other books of Pattimari's, and have enjoyed them all. I salute Pattimari and... More > her friends for a job well done." Sara Brannon, Writer, New Orleans< Less
Apr 28, 2010Easy read and very inspiring! I don't believe in "coincidences", but my sister (JoAnn Kite) co-publishing this book at the time I most needed it has helped me immensely. I highly recommend this book to anyone suffering from anxiety and/or depression...or just plain feeling like everything is crashing down around you. You will be truly enlightened!
