"Dollars Per Hour" Paul Juser’s novel “Dollars Per Hour” is a tongue in cheek story of telemarketing and a private war the hero Rubin Valentine is having with his employers, SpectraCom. He carefully sets up this story of revenge; the kind we would all like to have on telemarketers. Through the endless encounters of clients who con, deny and rant about paying their bills Rubin begins to go crazy and plans his settling of scores with those above his employ. Mr. Juser’s dialogue and ability to really make you feel the pain and constant stress the hero encounters from the tyrannical corporation helps the story along as you begin to side with Rubin. The ending is satisfying as he gets a chance to change careers. Judith Present --President, "Theatricks by Starlight"
