Poetry heals the wounds inflicted by reason. As a poet, I don't invent poetry, I listen. It is easier to lead men to combat, stirring up their passion, than to restrain them and direct them toward the patient labors of peace. Peace cannot be achieved through violence, it can only be attained through understanding. I have came to learn that all change is not growth, as all movement is not forward. A bird doesn't sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song. And these Poems are my song!
For many years I have read many poems by PJ on his poetry hour website and I am glad he decided to publish some of his work. I recommend his poetry and his style of writing to anyone who can appreciate emotional depth. I will order a few of these books for my poetry book collection.
I love your writing style and the way your words flow. I'm no great poet or poetry critic; my tastes in poetry run like my tastes in music--I like all kinds of music, but not all music of all kinds. You write poetry that I could read every day. I look forward to reading more!
