Here are some simple exercises to improve your strength, flexibility and general outlook on life. They are based on ancient exercises known as the 8 Silken Movements and the 5 Tibetan Rites. All you need is comfortable clothing, so you can move easily. No special equipment is needed. Once you get up to speed, it will take about ten minutes a day. If you are interested in your well - being, these exercise make a relatively easy commitment. The reason I am presenting these exercises is two fold. First, I found that putting Qi Gong and the 5 Rites together creates a ten-minute a day practice that fosters flexibility and strength. Second, I want to share the affirmations suggested by the shape & movements of 8 Silken Movements. Each of the exercises reminds me of the physical embodiment of a positive thought. I believe that by thinking these positive affirmations as you do the exercises, you may gently shift your frame of mind in a optimistic direction.
