I was given this by a friend who knows that I have been active in BDSM for over twenty years. As with Fifty Shades of Grey, I am both dismayed and disgusted by this publication. It is no wonder the author could not find a publisher(which is saying a great deal considering Fifty Shades of Grey). This "novel" does nothing more than send a damaging and false message about BDSM. The characters, and ultimately the message of the story, do not promote what is ESSENTIAL: Safe, sane and consensual. Fifty Shades of Grey hit you over the head like a mallet(much like twilight) with how unbalanced and abusive the relationship was. London Leather does the same-in a far more subtle way. It's troubling to find a description of the book that is so very false. Amongst the many issues with this book, is the glaring butchering of "SPAG". The author claims to be a professional editor. I have to wonder at this. The lack of even basic grammar is headache inducing. It would be glorious... More > to have a book that does examine the "real side." This is not that book.< Less
