"Captivating" The story of a woman and her journey through a life which can never be forgotten.... Reading the story of Penny J. Oakes through her insightful words, I felt as though I knew her personally and was experiencing her life right along with her. This is a book you pick up to thumb through and find yourself unable to put down.
"Re: Captivating" This book is a wonderful confident way to come out of the closet about being a lesbian. It sure helped me, becuz' I am 22 y/o and known for as long as I can remember and it is great now (my life). I was starting to get really ill and started having thoughts of being all couped up, and I was tired of being somebody I wasn't in front of my fam and friends. Now I am no longer on any medications becuz' now I can finally be who I really am, in front of my family and friends. So, fantastic book of poems, Penny J. Oakes...... Thank you! Thanks! Sincerely, Amber Meadows
