HUMBLE KING RETURNING KING

ByPete Kovacs

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Humble King Returning King is about the two visions of the Messiah in the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament: the Humble King, Messiah son of Joseph, the humble and suffering Messiah, and the Returning King, Messiah son of David. "One Shabbat morning thousands of years ago, under a clear blue Mediterranean sky, Jesus went to synagogue in Natzeret as he had always done. But on this particular morning, he rose and went to the front to read. At the Bema he was given the scroll of the prophet Isaiah selected for him by the elders from the scrolls of the Hebrew Scriptures. He unrolled the scroll and quoted from these words: "The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me...To proclaim the year of the LORD's favor." Part I covers the foundations of faith, while Part II is about walking by faith through the good times and the valley of suffering, moral virtues, and believing in that ancient hope: boy meets girl, love, and family.
