Volume IV of The Holy Orthodox Bible deals with the Minor Prophets of the Old Testament. The Minor Prophets are a collection of twelve prophetic books spanning the period of the Israelite kingdoms and on into the exile
and restoration.
The Minor Prophets have several common themes which include God’s judgment towards people and nations for failing to follow his ways, the rise and fall of nations that oppose God, God’s passionate love for his people, even when they disobey Him and a strong messianic message concerning the coming of a future king and savior for God’s people.
Volume IV, The Minor Prophets, of The Holy Orthodox Bible include the books of OSEE, AMOS, MIHEAS, JOEL, OBDIOU, JONAS, NAUM, AMBAKOUM, SOPHONIAS, AGGEOS, ZEHARIAS and MALAHEAS.
