"hsitorical FaFfiction" This book is amazing. I purchased this for a friend for his birthday as he enjoys Peter Chimaera's other works, but I could not wait to read it myself. I love hearing all my favorite historical heroes in new stories faced with new challenges. I was on edge the entire time as I quickly realized there was no way for me to predict what would happen next as I read each story. I read a lot of books and usually can tell what will happen before the characters know, or before it happens, but this is a rare bit of reading in that I honestly didn't know where any of the stories would go once they began. I appreciate the use of so many wepons like Rocket Launchers, Lasers, Pistols, cross bows, and swords just to name a few. Each story is PACKED with action. However, not every story ends positively, sometimes the characters die, but such is history. In addition to being thrilling and action packed, this book is highly quotable. I will enjoy quoting "'You... More > were exicutedat!' - 'Yes but I survived!'" for years to come, and that's just from the sneak preview. I highly recommend this book to anyone that enjoys humor, fanfiction, history, and/or reading.< Less
