Fight or Die

eBook (PDF), 152 Pages
(1 Ratings)
Price: $3.95
An excellent discussion of fighting the good fight of sanctification. Written by a seasoned pastor and college instructor. The author avoids the magical formulas and hocus pocus so common in books on spiritual warfare. Written from a Reformed perspective. Readable yet solidly biblical. Not for the lazy or faint of heart.

I previewed a pre-publication proof of this book. Here are the good points. Well-written in an easy style. Short concise chapters. Very sound theologically, but balanced with illustrations and personal stories. Great use of humor and sarcasm. A needed response to "soft sanctification" that ignores the combative nature of the Christian life. I would have given the book five stars, but I felt the author could have spent more time on the spiritual armor of Eph. 6. If you already hold to a Reformed view of sanctification there will be little new material here for you. I think this book will be a good wake up call for a beliver who has strayed from the path. Could also be used as a basis for a Bible study.
