A Village Called Trinity

ByPeter T. Denton, Jr.

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Chip Denton is the founding Headmaster of Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill. On the occasion of the school’s twentieth anniversary, he has gathered this collection of essays, most of which were first published in the school’s biweekly Parent News. Over the years, his column has offered opportunities to reflect on the breadth of issues facing a school and to explore the implications of Trinity’s distinctive mission. Trinity School is an independent Christian school educating students in Transitional Kindergarten to grade twelve, teaching the classical tools of learning, providing a rich yet unhurried curriculum, and communicating truth, good- ness, and beauty to its students. Founded in 1995, Trinity enjoys a beautiful campus that sits on the border of Durham and Chapel Hill, in the heart of the community that is bounded by Duke University, UNC Chapel Hill, and North Carolina Central University.
