Em-pathetic - Poetry From a Teenage Mind

Teenagers are often seen as one of the lower stages in society. Children are sweet, adults are the rulers, but teenagers are trouble-makers ruled by hormones. And for the most part, it's true. However, for some teens, this isn't them at all. They love their parents (however embarrasing), have their hobbies, are polite (mostly), and most of all, empathise. Something many adults don't do. So this is collection of poetry written not from a stereotypical teenage viewpoint - one of tempers and tantrums - but one from a 'real' teenager, one having trouble comprehending his new experiences, but one that copes with it, and writes about it. These poems range from realisations on life, and what it contains, to pure emotional darkness, through everything in between. Don't expect any great feats of literary genius. However, if you're looking for poetry that, while varying in quality, always comes from the heart, give this a read. You may be suprise at what you find in the teenage mind...
