Seeker

Gareth Beckwin is an Aarronic Advisor in the Land of Caern. Gareth's duty as an Advisor is to counsel Duke Olandis Pell, but above all else an Aarronic Advisor's duty is to protect the Land. Gareth learns that serving two masters can be a tricky proposition, especially when he fails to realize the rules have changed.<br><br> Seeker is actually the prologue for a future Land of Caern novel, but I wanted to publish it as a short story to introduce readers to Caern and to my writing style.
