"Letter sent to author on first reading of TRL" At the risk of sounding like a totally crazy, unstable stalker chick, I am so touched you trusted me with your manuscript and that you let me in like that. The Road letters is an incredible moving love story, happy and sad all at once—you... you... you. I was with you all the way cheering you on and not wanting to touch you, to let it unfold. In the airport, on the plane, here out at the marina between the waterfalls and the boats, the sun setting between the masts in front of me, I have been totally subsumed and sucked in. I was vaguely aware of people staring as I sniffed and then coughed, and looking up as I threw my head back and did the whole hyena thing and wiping my eyes under my glasses. Normally people ask me what I’m reading (It’s like I have a sign on my forehead) but this time it was if no one wanted to break the spell, the feelings. Thank you for sharing this with me.. thank you. Thank you. I wanted to tell you... More > all this while I was still full of it and feeling it and wishing to God the main characters could get together. And for the record, I have been asked to read and review many books, and while I have appreciated, and laughed, and suggested, and asked questions, I have NEVER been so moved. I am so impressed. I still have tears on my cheeks. Mindy< Less

"The Road Letters" Great book. Fast read. It makes you think about life, where you are and where you want to be, mentally and physically. Nice to hear a man's sensitive perspective on life's road.

An amazing story about love, life and loss. Ribaudo captures the true meaning of life and the secret to pure happiness - to love yourself and to enjoy the journey, no matter where it takes you... I was moved to tears - both of sadness and of joy. It was great to experience Nick's journey with him - I felt like I had actually been in the passenger seat of his Nissan 240. I would definitely read this again - AND try some of the recipes!

"The Road Letters" Wow! I loved this book! Once in a while you find yourself reading something so wonderful that you know you will be sorry when you've reached the end...yet you can't put it down until you've finished it. I was hooked five minutes after I started. Ribaudo made me feel every ounce of his pain and confusion. Then he brings you back around with his sense of humor. He understands that family and friends are as important to the mind and body as food and drink...and every bit as delicious. I want more! I want more! Pam Agne
