5:51 Verse Flocking
if there is an 'essence' to our modern, nominalist minds it is found where we look for 'flocking'. Birds flock. People on cell phones flock, ideas flock, neurons flock. We can't often put our finger on it but there is a type of pattern recognition that could then get shaped into a way of sharing this with others. In the morning I get on the train before 5:51 am and I start to flock ideas before I write essays and lectures for my work. This is a liminal zone where I have just woken up and I am close to my dreams and the tabula rasa which is the free and open day. I am often surprised by what happens out of this...out of the train as it starts to move by inches at 5:51.
