An interesting and at times extremely moving read. Qianna DuBois is not one to tread lightly over the socio/cultural memes and embraces confrontation as she is demonstrably incensed with particularly Western culture. the porn industry is a particular hated foe. Paradoxically, Qianna has her favourites of western culture such as Lady Gaga whom she submits as a paragon of modern power feminism. The poetry is the power centre of this life laid bare and in my opinion is as good as any of the modern genre. Qianna has included work from some friends and ex lovers which gives the book more facets. Qianna also is undoubtedly a well trained Astrologist and enjoys this art form as a life force for her personal growth. Qianna can give the impression of revering the "noble savage" when presenting some other cultures but she demonstrates great empathy for the suffering of the peoples of the Middle east and Third world. It is clear she judges our First World culture as the source of much... More > of this suffering. I would recommend this book to all who seek to be moved by modern poetry and informed by modern feminist rage. Four Stars. PB< Less
