As technologies continues to broaden the human experience with an ever widening range of motion image, the study of the affect of human exposure to countless visual messages vying for human attention and interaction, all while bombarding society with a faux reality of being immersed in a marketing universe. We begin with an exploration of image, as in “the image of woman” through the eyes of man. These quotes might be skipped, however some might find the prominent names on these pages of interest. We work our way through the varying themes of Cinema, to touch on the ever growing flood of forms of motion imagery that is the internet. We pause often to explore the affect, whether intentional or as an inadvertent result, it is my hope this study would continue so long as motion image is interwoven within the reality that is life.
