We experience conflict in every aspect of life, this is the human condition. Often, the method with which we communicate with others is the catalyst for much of the conflict we experience whether that was our intent or not. This handbook is designed to provide the reader with various communications skills that are easy to understand, easy to apply, and if applied properly, will greatly reduce the incidences of conflict. The techniques taught in this manual can greatly reduce the level of conflict in the Lodge as well as at home and the workplace.

Rob Jones did an excellent job on this book. It is the perfect resource for the Master of any lodge, as well as anyone in an officer line for a lodge. To take it a step further, any Freemason attempting to build their leadership and communication skills would benefit from reading this book!Sometimes brothers forget that Lodges are made up of people, and they bring all their strengths and their faults to the table with them. Even though Masons endeavor to transmute the negative aspects of themselves, and break off the corners of rough stones in order to better fit themselves for the Builder's use, there are always resources along the way that can help with polishing ourselves and helping others to see where they may need the whisper of good counsel. This book provides a great resource for not only our ability to communicate effectively with others, but to also help others to communicate more effectively, so that challenges that may prop up within a lodge can be dealt with in a... More > brotherly fashion, and that harmony may prevail. Rob Jones has served in many leadership positions within Freemasonry and it clearly shows! I would highly recommend this book!< Less
