In his book "The Illusion of I and Other", Ra Santosha confronts the mammoth challenge of defining and describing the phenomenon of Consciousness and the divisive nature of Self-Consciousness, and all that flows from that. While I feel that it would be an advantage for the reader to be at least a little "enlightened", and open-minded, I am sure that all who read this book and give some thought to what Santosa is saying will arrive at a greater understanding of the subject matter and will therefore be in a better position to appreciate their lives, and living. The chapters relating to Love are particularly succinct and we should all familiarise ourselves with that experience. This booh stimulates thought at many levels, well after reading. I found it a rewarding, insightful and provacative work. Review by: Dr Derek A. Johns. M.B.,B.S.,F.R.A.N.Z.C.P. Consultant Psychiatrist.
