Price: $1.50
David Preston is a middle-aged lawyer, if not content, then accepting of the status quo. He has reached the height of his career, is married to a devoted woman, and he has close friends. Although he appears to have it all, a deep depression grips him. He spends time staring aimlessly out his office window at the cold, unwelcoming city passing beyond his office every day, lost in the monotony and cold anonymity. That is until one morning with his eyes fixed on the street below he sees a woman who, in a momentary glimpse, changes his life and how he views the world forever. We follow David on an erotic spiral of obsession and zealous devotion as he envisions a new life, a happier one, with this woman. What begins as simple attraction soon grows into something more, something relentless that drives him beyond the edge of madness.

"Very good read" This book is very intriguing. It was very well written, the characters are all believeable and the story flows very well. You find yourself simpathizing with the main character Dave and wanting to see how far he'll go. His spiral into madness is like watching a trainwreck. Very entertaining.

"Captivated by the story" Through this twisted tale of obsession, Rachel Funk is able to take you on an erotic journey into the mind of a delusional man. This story kept my interest from beginning to the end. I found myself wondering, "What the heck is he thinking?" But then that's what made it so compelling, you never knew what he was going to conjure up in his mind next. I simply could not put the book down. Rachel's writing style grabs you from doesn't let go until you finish the story.

"Amazing!" This book is FANTASTIC! I stayed up for two nights not wanting to put this book down. I HAD to know what David was going to do next. Very well written and descriptive. I am eagerly waiting for the next book to come out. A MUST read.

"Great First Novel!" This first novel by Rachel Funk is more than can be expected from a budding novelist. She grabs readers with her vivid words, and keeps hold of them with her intense story line. She brings the characters to life, which makes the book hard to put down not knowing what might happen next. I look forward to reading more of her books.

"Suspenseful story!" What an amazing book. The story draws you into the unraveling mind of lawyer, David Preston. The scenes are described so well, that you walk the cold, snowy streets and feel the crazed energy of the main character. Brilliant!
