This liberal democrat has been reading these comics since middle school and has missed reading the original story arcs. I found the characters "heartfelt and relateable" especially as an awkward middle/high schooler who didn't feel like she belonged. I also found his sense of humor and story-telling to be quite entertaining. so, in other words: Haters gonna hate, but can they please move to the left. Also: pretentiousness*, the*, moronic*, are on par*, favor*

"under the lemon tree" i loved this series before the revamp. though be warned it is not complete the author did leave out some story arcs he now finds offensive. I am a little confused about that since i never found any thing in the series to be in bad taste, and wonder why he deleted this from the book since it takes away from the characters. why write or draw something in the first place if it is offensive to you? also there are some pages out of order, but for the price you cant beat the amount of funny in the book.

"great comic" I've been reading RH Junior's comics for about 3 years now and I love this one along with nip and tuck series. word of warning in the beginning the comic looks alittle rough but you see inprovments. Think of it this way, all of the other great comics started that way. So if your a fan or just want somthing new too read Pick It Up Peace

"Previous Review" Okay, sweetie, 1st of all if you're going to trash someone else's hard work, try to learn how to spell and check yourself before you post (and, really, learn how to insult with some style and originality). 2nd, he never made any claim this book was more than a collection of past comic strips (you need to check the original strip). Of course, when an artist begins, his work is not as good as it becomes. You *do* remember "Garfield"? The first comic strips there were really bad, yet they are still around and streamlined today. Finally, the author is a funny man... *if* you are Southern (or Texan), Right Wing, a Repulican, a Conservative, a Christian or Anne Coulter. If not and you *are*, instead, close-minded (or expecting to be spoon fed the plot because your sense of humor atrophied at the age of 4), you won't enjoy or even understand his references and jokes. Wait, let me guess, you're a Democrat... 'splains why it's not funny to you.

"Horrible, thinly veiled pretniousness" This book, that when first observed looks harmless is nothing more than then pathetic ramblings of an uninformed, mornic sexual deviant. The jokes in it on are par with Sally Forth or maybe Mallard Phillmore/Doonesbury. The art is bad, and the characters are as flat as tortilla. Do yourself a favour and avoid it.
