In this book Sexless Solitude and Other Poems of Mr. R. K. Singh, Indian poet, was realized a meeting of two big creators: the too valuable Indian poet Mr. R. K. Singh and the too valuable also Greek translator of literary texts, Mr. Antonios Zaloni. We, investigators and lovers of the “beautiful” have read this poetry and left same to gush up inside of us. We have been charmed from the wise poetry of Mr. R. K. Singh. Because as says also Baudelaire: “Poetry is wisdom that charms the heart”. And we, the Greeks, we have heart that it is charmed easily by the poetry. Mature the wisdom of mentality of the poet R. K. Singh allows our participation in a big emotional vicissitude. We see him swimming, lost in superior open seas, and loaded tragic elements. His philosophical thought different from that of Europeans, consequently also from Greek poets, has his own value and we are interested to make acquaintance with. We were glad or rather we enjoyed this book, knowing always the theory... More > that: never is attributed the total truth of work when it is translated in other language, as capable may be the translator, because, “Nobody can translate the soul, he has however the right to interpret same as he wants”. That, we made also us, the translational team of the magazine KELAINO, in head of which is Mr. Antonios Zalonis. We spend a lot of time and inspiration for the best possible translation and literary attribution of the work of R. K. Singh, Sexless Solitude and Other Poems. For the magazine “KELAINO” The publisher and poetess Dr. Panagiota Zaloni Translation by: Antonios Zalonis Assistant translators: a) Panagiota Zaloni b) Antonia Kournopoulou Athens of 11 January 2010.< Less
