Growing Up Randy

This manuscript is about my ancestry, my childhood, and my early adolescence. The things you read in these pages actually did happen. As you might imagine, there’s a lot of dirt in this book. If you can’t handle the truth, then don’t read this book. I tried to edit out a bunch of it — particularly the pages about the Cuban Missile Crisis. However, since nuclear weapons and the fear of being vaporized into oblivion were so fundamental in shaping who I am, I kept much of that story in this little volume. So, yes, there’s a lot of superfluous information in here; but, combined, it unties the Gordian knot and answers the question: “What makes Randy tick?”
