MURDER AMONG ALLIES is an intriguing story of a serial killer operating in the chaos of war. The story opens just after the Allied invasion of Europe on D-Day with the murder of a woman in the coastal village of Pouppeville, France. Warrant Officer Jake Hannon is assigned by the Army Criminal Investigation Division to find the killer. Hannon meets Yar Nagloc, whose wife and daughter have been snatched by the Nazis and taken from their homeland. Nagloc, dubbed "The Ghost of Normandy" for his role as the perpetrator of a one-man guerilla war against the Nazis, joins Hannon in a quest to solve the murders and find his family. Setting the stage throughout the story are a number of historical events, including the Battle of the Bulge, Patton crossing the Rhine River, and the introduction of the first African-American armored unit to fight in Europe, the 761st Tank Battalion.
