At odds with the priests of the Second Temple and the foreign rulers who oppressed them, the Yahad saw themselves as the upholders of a tradition that was quickly eroding out from under them. "Essential reading!" Few are the times anymore do I come across a work such as this. Anyone who is interested in what was found within caves of Qumran should read this book. It just may challenge some of your long held beliefs with logical reason. It's just that plain and simple.
