Not Sumerian! While this dictionary captures some words that were written with the cuneiform script of the Sumerians, an awful lot of them are Eastern Semitic (likely Akkadian, Babylonian or Assyrian). For example, it gives bitu for house and kalbi for dog (like Arabic bayt and kalb). For water, it gives a (Sumerian) and mu (Babylonian). And for king, it gives sarrum (Old Babylonian sharrum), not the Sumerian lugal. If you are interested in Eastern Semitic, the mini-phrasebook at the beginning makes this worth a glance. But if you are trying to decipher Sumerian, this is the wrong dictionary.
