This is a literal word for word interlinear English translation of the 1900+ year old Aramaic Bible called the Peshitta. This volume contains the entire OT- the 39 books of the Hebrew Bible and the Protestant Old Testament canon as well as the entire 27 book Aramaic New Testament. Aramaic was the native language of Jesus and of Israel in the 1st century AD. The text translated is an edition of the 6th-7th century Codex Ambrosianus- the oldest complete Semitic Old Testament manuscript and the 1905 Syriac Peshitta New Testament pub. by the British & Foreign Bible Society. The author has translated and published plain English translations of the NT, the Torah, the Psalms & Proverbs. PDF... More > EBook 8x11" 2765 pages in color.< Less

Difficult to navigate, but makes it possible to see the actual Aramaic word behind each English word used in this interlinear translation. It is the ability to see which Aramaic word is behind the translation that makes it valuable.
