“They’re all going to pay for their fathers’ sins…Let the games begin…” Deep in the woods, trees left uprooted from heavy rain surround an old unmarked grave, a purple ribbon tied around the victim’s neck. A vicious killer stalks the small town of Weatherpeake. When Abigail Sullivan is assigned her first homicide case, she is determined to prove her worth to the male- dominated police force. Unfortunately, her confidence falters as a single homicide escalates to a full-blown serial murder case. She soon realizes that this small town holds deadly secrets behind every white picket fence. The only clue is a journal, but can Abby believe it? The deeper she delves into its pages, the more obvious it becomes that even those closest to her cannot be trusted. Will she manage to outsmart the murderer before she becomes the next victim?

Jun 11, 2019Ginger head was such an amazing book that I enjoyed reading. All the different plot twists and intense emotions that the characters expressed lured me in more and more. My favorite moments were when Abigail would make a discovery about the case. Everything was a surprise and I hope that I can read more books from Rey N.
Aug 20, 2018Rey N. strikes again!!! What a wonderful book! For me personally, I struggled to get into the book at first (possibly because I had just finished Grad School and was tired of reading ;-) ), but I am so glad that I kept reading! This book captured me and I could not put it down. Once I finally came to the end and things started to unravel I could not look away and wound up staying awake until midnight to finish! I highly recommend you read this book and give it its due diligence!!
Jun 14, 2018I love this Author's style of writing. I read her first book and loved it. Bought Gingerhead thinking it was the sequel to A dark mind. Boy was I wrong, not disappointed, though. haha. Wow! Couldn't put Gingerhead down. Very intriguing all the way through. This book had me guessing til the end. If you figure out who the killer was before the end then you are a better detective than I am. haha. Gingerhead is worth the read! It grabbed my attention from beginning to end. Not to give anything away, but I felt bad for Bertha. Captain Flynn got what he deserved. Holly is a whacked job. Wished Abigail had kicked her butt all the way to the end of the book. Holly and David both deserves each other. Those two got under my skin. I hope I don't have to wait another two or three years to read another one of REY N books. No disrespect.
Jun 10, 2018I actually enjoyed reading Ginger Head considering my first time to read Murder Mystery book. This tales gives excitement to the chase of its diverse characters. Rey N did a smashing job describing the bravery exhibited by Bertha as the fear of invasion becomes more real. The author took me in a roller coaster ride of emotion from a soft tone of a love story to the adrenaline rush of a thriller. I will guarantee you that reading this book is not a waste of your time or your money. Elvie S.
