"searching for a solution" I am searching for information which I can use towards a solution. I bought this book. I have started to read it, not necessarily to expect to find a solution, but to read the clear perspective. The book contains a chapter on banks. I have undertaken much research about the banking, economic and trading systems. The author makes statements which agree with what I think, but more to the point, this author expresses them much, much better than I. In short brilliant. He has crystallized so many of the issues I have in my head that I don't need to write about them. He has done it for me. Now look, always on the defensive here, I have only just read upto that point. He maybe a madman (I am not saying that he his). In the interrupted bursts of reading that I have done thus far, I know that I will have to go back and re-read the book several times *and at the same time* spend time relating what he is saying to my own experiences in life, and my vision... More > of what is possible knowing that human beings are not robots and perfection does not exist but is also undesirable. (We are all very unique you see). I do suggest you read the introduction of the book which is available for download. If you agree with the opening paragraphs completely and wish to read more after the book says "If you doubt that this is the case, I suggest you put off reading this book for now.", then I recommend that you spend a few dollars and buy the book. I am upto page 61 and I am satisfied already with my decision to buy the book based upon what I have read so far. I protested on the streets against the Iraq "war". I laughed out loud when Bush said it would be over in a 'couple of weeks'. (There's the illusion part to get you to 'come on board'). The 'war' went ahead and happened anyway. Yes, it's disappointing and seemingly futile to resist. I declared our so called 'democracy' a dead duck about 10 years ago. (I was 'suspicious' for many years before that). What you do is up to you within the limits of what is possible in any given circumstances. I recommend that you buy the book. (You have to continue using the current system until another one can be found). Personally, I distanced myself from the banks several years ago. (I lead a relatively simple life within our means). I have money in one of them, but I have no debts and no credit cards. I am reviewing, what to do with the money now I know how they use my money to do bad things. It will not be easy as I hope you will appreciate. Yes I am a dreamer, it is very important to dream. I am also a realist. I know I have to eat to nourish my physical body. Dreaming encompasses a whole range of subjects and states. Never stop dreaming. The Blade< Less
