Uplands Under Siege

Third in a series. A grisly discovery of two bodies wrapped in plastic, discovered by county workers preparing a bike path in Mackades Park. In this third installment of the Uplands saga, deputy sheriff Matt Swedberg is called to investigate the crime. Much has transpired in the Uplands since the abduction of Greta Tripdahl, wife of the town banker. In the political arena, Sheriff Lloyd Ungrodt has been voted out of office and Swedberg is promote Swedberg to detective first grade. Swedberg is responsible not only for investigating the circumstances surrounding the homicides, but also for tracking down the perpetrators burglaries currently plaguing the area.
