Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
This book is historical-based fiction about the first 100 years after the incorporation of the city of Crystal Lake. Photos both archival black & white and new color are interwoven within a story of a retired firefighter, a grandfather telling the history of the city while roasting marshmallows with his three grandchildren before taking them to a play at Raue Center. As he delves into each area of the city (railroad, education, downtown) a section of pure history comes to the forefront. Once exhausted, he moves on with the story.
